This individual will develop and implement a sales strategy for growing sales and profitability through identification of customer's needs. They will then deliver sales solutions to customers through appointments, needs analysis, presentations, and proposals. Our Account Executive will play a leadership role in the development and presentation of major proposals, and will take ownership and responsibility for sales, profitability and total customer satisfaction. Responsibilities will include:

  • Developing growth plans for sales and profits
  • Working independently to grow sales and profits
  • Presenting company services and value proposition to customer and customer groups
  • Identifying and building excellent relationships with key decision makers/executives within target customer account organization
  • Leading sales role for effective implementation of company Value Sales and Business Development Sales processes
  • Qualifying, probing and uncovering opportunities to deliver value to customers
  • Developing effective customer needs analysis
  • Coordinating with regional and area operations managers to develop business proposals that align services to be delivered with customer needs and expectations
  • Effectively communicating deliverables and value benefits to the customer's key decision makers
  • Developing, presenting and delivering effective proposals based on customer needs that deliver value and solve their business needs using consultative selling methodology
  • Managing effective transition of new customers to Regional Account Manager and the Operations Manager for on-going account maintenance and growth
  • Preparing requiredreports of sales activity
  • Analyzing records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations
  • Interpreting accounts, trends, competitive intelligence and records to management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 5 - 10 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive experience selling intangible products preferred
  • Broad network of relationships with Plant Managers, Directors, Vice Presidents of Operations and Managers in target industry preferred
  • Thorough understanding and knowledge of metrics that drive financial and operating performance of manufacturing plants preferred
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced work environment
