ust have at least 3+ years of plant safety experience. Responsible for being a part of the EHS Department, reporting into the Plant EHS Manager and supporting safety and health activities for a large, non-union manufacturing facility. Ergonomics, training initiatives and accident/injury reduction will be the main focus.
Key Responsibilities of this position include:
Review, evaluate and analyze work environments and assist in the design of programs and procedures to prevent injury.
Assess and evaluate plant conditions for safety compliance and conduct inspections.
Develop and maintain proficiency in technical matters related to safety/IH including air sampling and noise monitoring.
Ability to communicate effectively and read/interpret documents related to all safety and health matters.
