Eurofins E&E is a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and this position is to represent and sell Safety Field Evaluation services for the designated territory. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling this type of service.
Territory Managers (TM) develop their territory by prospecting:
A successful rep will maintain a pipeline of at least 60 opportunities by month 4 of their employment. The TM is expected to set appointments with prospects and existing accounts and spend as much time as necessary on the road (probably less than 50%) to reach sales quotas.
Starting salary, $80,000.00
You will be eligible for a 3% commission on all business that is sold in the territory. The sales budget for the territory is expected to average $120,000 per month by the end of the 4th month and $200,000 per month by the end of the first full year of employment. The expectation for new customers is 7 per month by the 6th month.
All business-related use of a personal vehicle will be reimbursed at the current federal rate for mileage. For business trips that are drivable but where the destination is greater than 150 miles from your home office, use of a rental car is permitted.
Territory and quota adjustments will be reviewed on an annual basis, to coincide with the beginning of the calendar year, and may be adjusted according to business needs and results.
The first 3 months of employment with the company will be considered an introductory period. During this time performance will be monitored and feedback will be provided to assist in understanding and meeting performance expectations. A guaranteed monthly bonus will be paid at a rate of $2,000 per month for the first 3 months of employment. During these months, new customer bonuses and any special incentives (spiffs), if offered, may be earned as well, however, the bonus paid will only be the higher of the two amounts (guarantee versus commission and bonuses earned).
