Job Title: Safety & Training Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Environmental, Health, and Safety Program: In conjunction with EFS Safety Team, manage and support execution of safety training program for EMCOR Field Organization (EFO). Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Conduct scheduled and unscheduled job site safety inspections

Conduct quality control inspections of technicians’ vans, tools, and personal protective equipment

Support Regional Directors and Regional Managers in conducting safety incident investigations and after action reviews

Support and enhance safety incentive and rewards programs

Participate in supported EFO Regional Director and Regional Manager safety calls

Conduct Quarterly Safety Webinars for supported EFO Regional Directors and their teams

Investigate and identify appropriate PPE required in the field

Teach OSHA-10 and OSHA-30 classes

Serve as EFO administrator of lone or isolated worker monitoring program

Training: Conduct local technical and safety training for EFO Technicians in accordance with operational priorities and requirements. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide local training in support of new EFO-supported account rollouts, customer account program changes, and operational process changes

In accordance with EFO Regional Director priorities, provide on-the-job training support for EFO Technicians

Provide administrative support to Regional Directors and Regional Managers with implementation and execution of the CMT Training and Certification Program

Support EFO Regional Directors in planning, decision-making, and continuous improvement initiatives

Provide feedback to Regional Directors, Regional Managers, and Technicians for development and coaching

Establish and refine annual goals and objectives that are nested with Regional Director and EFO priorities and objectives

Evaluate individual and collective performance monthly, quarterly, and annually in accordance with established Key Performance Indicators

Solicit and apply customer feedback (internal and external)

Foster a safety culture, a focus on quality, and a continuous improvement environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university or related experience

Minimum of 5 years’ field safety and technical training experience preferably in facilities services industry with strong knowledge of all applicable safety laws & OSHA standards

OSHA 500 Trainer Course & OSHA-30 Certification

Ability to prepare reports, training programs, and standard operating procedures. Ability to effectively present information and provide training to groups of technicians and managers.
