Seeking individual with process and tooling troubleshootingexperience in a rubber molding environment to join a company producing parts with tight tolerances, undercuts, thin walls, and government regulated quality requirements.
*** Use 2D drafting and 3D modeling software to evaluate and optimize new mold designs and evaluate issues with existing tooling.
*** Analyzing packing, warpage, and cooling to predict and prevent distortions and sinks.
*** Working with the product design team for manufacturability issues.
*** Improve processes to increase cost and scrap savings.
*** Evaluating and advising machinists on mold and tooling fabrication.
Requires experience with multi-cavity tooling, mold filling software, experience with plastics processing, knowledge of toolmaking, etc. Requires degree in engineering, mathematics, sciences, or related field.
Total earning potential to $110,000 from start with competitive salary and excellent bonus.
