Rotordynamics and Bearing Design Engineer
The Rotordynamics and Bearing Design Engineer is responsible for Gas Turbine design, manufacture, test and after-market technical support. Scope includes design of rotors, bearings, and engine static structures. Assignments will range from single-component improvement to clean-sheet product design.
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Specialization or background in rotordynamics engineering & bearing design for turbomachinery.
Experience using finite element software (ANSYS preferred) to perform detailed analysis of mechanical components.
Turbomachinery industry experience
Experience with Turbomachinery Rotordynamics or vibrations
Ability to perform Concept and Detail designs.
Experience with Creation, Checking and Release of Engineering Drawings.
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing per ASME Y14.5CAD capability
Knowledge of Manufacturing Methods8-10 years of experience in a related field
