We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Roadway Project Manager in our Jacksonville, FL office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Act as Project Manager for FDOT Projects for Roadway or Structures Group
  • Act as PM or Project Engineer/Task Leader for Major Projects and On-Calls in Districts 2, 3 and 5, including Category II
  • Oversee production of contract plans, specifications, cost estimates, and schedules
  • Assist with client relations and business development efforts and proposals
  • Effectively communicate and coordinate with other members of the design team
  • Manage, train and mentor less experienced engineers in production of plans, specifications and estimates
  • Assist with client relations and business development efforts and proposals

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required; MSpreferred
  • Florida PE License required
  • Minimum of 15 years of bridge design (movable and/or segmental experience a plus)
  • Experience supervising staff and managing projects
  • Experience managing client relationships and pursuing projects in Florida with FDOT and County DPWs
