RN Staff Development - Home Health & Hospice
This position is in-office, not remoteFull-Time | Dependable HealthThe RN Staff Development leader will serve as a clinical subject matter expert and strategic partner to operational leadership, supporting organization-wide quality initiatives, mentorship programs, and performance improvement efforts. This position plays a critical role in designing, implementing, and evaluating standards that strengthen both patient outcomes and employee success.
What You'll Do- Lead and enhance clinical education, onboarding, and competency programs across Home Health and Hospice
- Serve as a clinical expert for operations, compliance, survey readiness, and field practice standards
- Assess educational and operational needs using data analysis, trend reporting, and performance indicators
- Develop measurable learning programs using in-person, virtual, and LMS-based platforms
- Collaborate with Clinical Managers, Regional Directors, and executive leadership to support operational excellence
- Monitor regulatory and accreditation updates and translate changes into effective education and practice standards
- Support mentorship and preceptor initiatives to strengthen clinical development and retention
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to integrate evidence-based practices into training, workflows, and patient care delivery
- Evaluate program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Support special projects and organizational initiatives as assigned
Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- BSN required; MSN, MBA, or MHA preferred
- Willingness to obtain OASIS certification within one year of employment
- 7-10 years of leadership experience in Home Health and/or Hospice
- Minimum of 5 years designing and delivering clinical education programs
- Experience with multimodal education delivery including classroom, virtual, and LMS platforms
- Strong knowledge of Home Health and Hospice regulations, accreditation standards, and compliance requirements
- Multisite or multi-state experience preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and computer proficiency skills
