Job DescriptionMAJOR FUNCTION:
Responsible and accountable for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of human response to actual or potential physical and emotional health problems. Performs diagnostic radiographic examinations as prescribed by a licensed invasive cardiologist, utilizing radiation-producing equipment within established departmental guidelines serving adult and geriatric patients.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience: - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with current licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing and graduate on or before the second employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
- BSN or MSN graduates preferred.
- Critical Care experience required.
- Cath Lab experience preferred.
- One-year clinical experience in specialty area required for per diem positions.
Certification/Licensure: - Current licensure with New Jersey State Board of Nursing.
- American Heart Association BLS required.
- American Heart Association ACLS required.
- Dysrhythmia certification required.
- National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
