Schedule: Full-Time, No Weekends
Compensation: $43.10 - $61.57/hr based on experience
Requirements: ER Management Experience Required

Position Overview:
Join a leading acute care hospital in Richmond as the RN Manager for the Emergency Room. This role involves collaborating closely with the Director to manage the unit, plan resources, and ensure exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for a compassionate, patient-centered leader eager to support a dynamic team and enhance emergency care quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage unit operations in the Director's absence, ensuring resources align with workload and patient needs.
• Lead team development, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, and ensuring licensure and competencies are up-to-date.
• Assist with onboarding new employees, students, and volunteers to ensure smooth orientation.
• Collaborate with other departments for coordinated, efficient patient care.
• Maintain and review unit standards to align with best practices.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or enrollment in BSN program preferred.
• Licensure: Active RN license in VA or multi-state compact RN license with VA eligibility.
• Certifications:
  
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - Obtain within 1 year
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Obtain within 1 year
