The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for the overall administrative, financial and clinical activities of the department. Job Summary :

A professional Registered Nurse with twenty-four hour responsibility for Nursing Services within established standards to achieve the mission and vision of BSA.

Education/Licensure/Certification/Registration REQUIRED:

Graduate of Accredited School of Nursing

BSN or Actively enrolled/ pursuing BSN, must complete within 24 months

Current license to practice Professional Nursing in the State of Texas

Certification in basic life support from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Experience REQUIRED :

2-3 years of demonstrated nursing leadership experience in an acute care setting

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities :

Must exhibit desire to exemplify the BSA culture, including the BSA Mission, Vision and the BSA Way

Position requires fluency in English language to function in job environment appropriately.

Excellent ability to lead and develop personnel.
