RN Clinic Nurse Manager

The Clinic Nurse Manager plans, organizes, develops and manages overall division operations to ensure efficiency and continuity of quality patient care, including financialresponsibilities, facility management and all activities relative to staffing, work assignments, hiring/termination, performance reviews, orientation, and professional development. The Clinic Nurse Manager will assist department management in developing and implementing new programs, long-range plans and organizational policies and procedures to help improve or maintain department effectiveness and efficiency. The Clinic Nurse Manager will also have responsibility for the following:
— Develops and communicates clear concise strategic objectives to Department Directors.
— Establishes necessary Division specific policies and procedures that support and advance Division objectives.
— Ensures that Division policies, procedures and practices comply with Baylor Scott & White Health policies and procedures.
— Ensures that services are provided in a timely, accurate, effective, and cost-efficient manner, and are in compliance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
— Prepares, administers and monitors the division budget to help ensure fiscal responsibility and compliance.
— Provides leadership and identifies and provides opportunities for the division staff to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to contribute to the success of the division.
— Establishes a climate that promotes teamwork and encourages the development of all staff.
The ideal candidate for the Clinic Nurse Manager role will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; the ability to assess operations with a critical, keen, approach; and is proactive with minimal guidance to problem resolution.
