Allina Health Home Care Services provides skilled medical care for patients and families needing rehabilitation, advanced-illness or end-of-life care. With headquarters located in St. Paul, Minn., services are provided in 30 Minnesota counties, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.


  • Expertise in the nursing management of the dying patient
  • Skill in pain and symptom management
  • Active listening skills and ability to communicate clearly with patients and families
  • Confidence supported by strong skills in nursing assessment
  • Ability to teach families, facilities staff and patients their role in managing end of life symptoms
  • Ability to assimilate clinical information quickly and accurately to work with night team of triage RN and Hospice MD
  • Collaborate with patient, family and facility staff to ensure we are providing Whole Person Care


  • RN license in State of MN, BSN preferred


  • Excellent customer service knowledge and skills
  • Team player who values collaboration
  • Clear, effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance
  • Hospice experience or experience in managing chronic progressive illness
  • Basic computer skills
