Leverage your experience in asset management and join our team as a Risk Manager in the Philadelphia or New York office. As a Risk Manager you will form part of the Macquarie Asset Management risk function responsible for managing and monitoring Macquarie’s operational risk framework.
A core component of the role will support Macquarie Asset Management’s implementation of the groupwide Non-Financial Risk transformation program. The program includes the delivery and implementation of several project streams including Incident and Issue management, Risk and Control assessments and assurance and Material Risk type Governance. The role will also contribute across the asset management operational risk framework including projects, assurance, and risk framework alignment.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting non-financial risk evolution, working with various asset management and risk stakeholders in developing and implementing an integrated risk management (end-to-end) approach to consider risks, issues and controls as part of the standardized taxonomy. You will also, contribute to the design of a future state issue and incident management process and risk system user interface and provide training and ad hoc advice to other assessment management risk team members on non-financial risk best practices, interpretation and application. Lastly, you will contribute to various project and controls assurance through identifying, managing, reporting, and mitigating operational risks and additionally working with business units to develop a strong risk management culture
To be successful in this role you will have strong stakeholder engagement skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a curious nature to gain deep understanding of the business and to assist in the identification of risk areas and improvements.
To be considered for this role you will have:
5+ years’ experience in developing and/or executing non-financial risk related frameworks
Strong understanding of business control environments and technology via risk or audit roles
