POWERHOUSE INSURANCE PROFESSIONAL NEEDED for Long Island based Risk Management Consulting firm. Top Notch coverage person needed to manage large national risk management accounts. Expertise in Commercial Property, Casualty and W/C coverages. Ability to coordinate, execute and manage clients insurance programs. Interaction with corporate officers and major insurance brokers. Assist with identifying and analyzing areas of potential risk to clients, this involves comparing estimated risks with criteria established by the company such as cost, legal requirements and environmental factors. Assist with creating risk registers recommending ways to control, reduce or transfer risk. Work on policy analysis and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors. Participate in property and casualty renewal programs, scrutinizing the most efficient ways to save clients annually on premiums. Support staff with developing risk reduction policies. Assist with client insurance claims. Review incident reports and work with appropriate parties. Collaborate with brokers, properties and adjusters, sharing claim information where appropriate. Assist with lease and contract language review with regard to property, liability and indemnity clauses.
Minimum 10-15 years of commercial insurance experience. Ideally, in risk management accounts. College degree, CPCU, ARM etc. Must have strong "interpersonal skills" and ability to market and meet with clients. Some travel required. NY brokers license required. Must have above average “coverage” and policy interpretation skills and abilities.
