The ITG consists of a small group of professionals with demonstrated experience in Security, Counterintelligence (Cl), Law Enforcement (LE), Computer Network Defense (CND), and other expertise necessary to identify anomalous behavior indicative of an insider threat.
This group identifies behavior indicative of a potential threat using host-based insider threat detection, analysis and correlation tools, developing a comprehensive picture of the event.
The successful Risk Management Analyst will provide risk management analyst as part of the ITG employing various skills and experiences including, but not limited to Insider Threat, security, Cl, LE, Intelligence Analyst and/or Risk Management Analyst to assist in ITG risk management.
Required skillset for the Risk Management Analyst includes demonstrated success in:
Utilizing a variety of intelligence and non-intelligence databases to conduct research and then prepare comprehensive written products providing a summary of research, to include analytical conclusions and assessments of the potential insider threat to DIA. Proposes appropriate strategies to mitigate the identified insider threat to the organization.
Collaborating with intelligence, LE, Cl, and security professionals to identify insider threat trends.
Assist with security vetting request, reviewing available information from a variety of organization and non-organization sources, and providing relevant information to the USG lead making the security determination.
Possess the ability to write official memoranda for senior DIA officials.
Possess a minimum of five years of experience in Risk Management and one or more of the following career fields: Insider Threat, Intelligence Analysis, Cl and/or LE.
Possess critical thinking abilities, superior communications skills and maintains the highest of professional standards for communicating with senior officials.
TS/SCI eligible for CI-Poly. Current CI-Poly desired.
Ability to maintain decorum and positive attitude in all situations.
Bachelors Degree Desired.
