As RF systems engineer, you will have a strong background in driving the specification of wireless systems along with a track-record in the design and verification of RF hardware. You will be familiar with prominent wireless standards such as LTE, 802.11 and Bluetooth and be accustomed to meeting demanding performance requirements to ensure the success of a product. You will be an expert in your field and will be looking for the next challenge which you will find at Cambridge Consultants.

You will design and develop wireless communications systems for a range of clients and will work closely with those clients to understand their needs, develop requirements and architect solutions that meet those requirements. You will work closely with other disciplines such as DSP, Digital Electronics and Software to define interfaces and functional partitioning between subsystems. You will work across the entire wireless landscape - from high volume consumer applications such as portable internet-based devices, through to professional high-performance systems such as the air-traffic-control radios used to govern the US airspace. The markets you will work in include telecommunications, healthcare, industrial, satellite, consumer and automotive. This breadth of applications and markets will provide you with variety and the opportunity to expand your horizons.
As a senior member of the team you will mentor more junior members to help them develop their skills and capabilities. You will also work closely with business developers to present Cambridge Consultants' capabilities to clients and identify how best we can help them meet their objectives.

You must have at least 6 years of industry experience in hands-on development of wireless communication systems.
We are looking for someone who is adaptable, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure. We will expect you to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, but also have the initiative to work independently. You should have excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
You must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
