In this role, you will lead the development of RF modules or phased array antennas to solve customer problems. You will manage projects for our customers by leveraging technology assets across ViaSat and our partners. The products and systems you will be developing are in Radar, EW, and communication applications. You will work with interdisciplinary teams including Business Development, Systems, Software, RFcircuits, hardware engineers, and others.   • 8+ Years of RF design experience 
  • Demonstrative experience tasking others (Engineers, technicians, assemblers, etc)
  • Ability to perform project and resource planning
  • Experiencewith Communications, EW or Radar Systems
  • Demonstrated experienceinterfacingwith customers
  • Perform gain-lineup, frequency planning, and stress analysis
  • Bachelor?s degree in ElectricalEngineering or related field
  • US government position, US Citizenship required
  • Up to 10% travel


  • AESA/phased array, Radar, SIGINT, or EW experience
  • Secret/Top Secret clearance
  • Experiencewith frequencies above 10GHz
  • Experiencewith ADS, Momentum, HFSS, and DX/Expedition tools or equivalent
  • Experiencewith high speed data converters (ADCs/DACs)
  • Filter or Antenna design experience
