RF/analog or microwave solid state circuit design engineer, specifically with expertise in GaAs HBT PA design.  Lead a team to plan, design, analyze, simulate, verify, document and release to production RF/analog/microwave multi-chip modules (MCM) for wireless handset applications.

 Job Requirements:

The candidate will provide a leadership role on a product development team composed of other design engineers, technicians, and MCM/laminate designers to effectively plan and execute RF cellular modules.  This person will face challenging performance parameters in the design of power amplifier and front end module products for handsets.  The candidate must be able to perform and mentor other engineers in RF/analog design through simulations within Agilent ADS and HFSS. Must have the ability to schedule, manage and execute a project to meet deadlines and cost targets. Additionally, must be able to communicate program and technical goals or issues to management and the customer. Successful candidate should be able to understand market drivers and how they impact the success of Skyworks circuit designs.  This position requires a BSEE with a minimum of 12 years of experience. MSEE preferred.  LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, and/or GSM/EDGE PA design experience is a desired plus.  Familiarity with Cadence, CMOS/SOI design, including RFFE MIPI is also highly desired.
