Support the NA Business Development team to achieve financial targets and execute against brand / region strategy. This position requires the ability to initiate and develop sound relationships internally, working as liaison between field teams (Area Managers), supply chain, retail operations, finance, retailers and global teams.
DEVELOP AND ISSUE WEEKLY REPORTS utilized by Sales, and Senior Management to analyze performance, incl net sales, retailsales, mix of business, launch results, and seasonal sell-thru, etc
MONITOR PERFORMANCE COMPARED TO THE FINANCIAL ESTIMATE. Highlight risks and opportunities in relation to achieving the monthly, quarterly and annual financial goals. Reconcile actual shipments with allocations monthly and advise Sales of any significant deviations.
TRACK AND MONITOR INVENTORY LEVELS in wholesale accounts, ensuring a balanced level of inventory at all locations vs retailsales and by category. Prepare monthly reports and tracking documents including product returns, run rate.
ALLOCATE NEW PRODUCT LAUNCHES & COLLATERAL quantities as necessary. Independently resolve any issues by consulting with relevant cross-functional teams. Gain alignment on all with NA lead and Global team. Alert Field on a timely basis of any changes in product availability or allocations.
LIAISE WITH RETAILER TEAMS to ensure timely order placement for new products, promotions, etc
CREATE DEMAND PLAN for NA business (retail and wholesale), partnering closely with AM and supply chain. Communicate recommended forecast shifts to all appropriate teams.
Prepare and analyze ad hoc report requests as required by Region or Brand Management
Approx 5-8years of related experience
Strong computer and analytical skills, including advanced Excel functions
Must be able to analyze date, make recommendations for improving reporting process, and succinctly and clearly explain analysis
Superior customer service-oriented abilities to meet the needs of several departments.
Must be comfortable and adaptable to entrepreneurial environment as well as structured, corporate atmosphere
Should be a self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team as needed
