Our Company offers premium building materials. We are currently seeking a proven Retail Operations Manager to lead our daily operations through our Company's vision and values to deliver sales growth and foster a collaborative teamwork environment. This person must have prior retail operational management experience in the design, construction, and/or building materials industries.

This position requires a passion for operational excellence, a drive for results, and the ability to quickly and efficiently manage through unforeseen complexity.

Essential Functions

  • Oversees daily office operations, ensures customer satisfaction, and provides direct management of key functions
  • Manage and implement field schedules and appointments
  • Secure installation labor
  • Coordinate deliveries
  • Invoicing
  • Collections
  • Job Costing & Estimating
  • Purchasing
  • Resolves issues that arise within the location's staff, customers, etc.
  • Reviews and interprets financial and operational reporting regularly
  • Identifies under-performing metrics and inefficient processes, and develops strategies that leverage Company programs, tools, and resources to improve and grow the business
  • Create an environment that inspires and encourages the growth and engagement of associates
  • Be knowledgeable of, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
  • Protect company assets and minimize loss by ensuring all store standards and operating procedures are met

Experience

  • 5+ years of fast-paced, retail management, or other relevant work experience
  • Project Management in the building materials industry a plus
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Prior experience working with subcontractors
  • Able to clearly convey thoughts and ideas
  • Has exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Outlook Email, MS Excel, Scheduling Tools, Salesforce or comparable CRM Program
