Job Description

SUMMARY:

The Retail Development Manager for the South Central geography is responsible for managing the retail execution of our broker partners at all customers within the assigned geography. This position will work out of our Phoenix location. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, communication and execution of national retail priorities, Innovation execution, category analytics integration, development of national sales sheets, engagement with the customerteams, results tracking and training of broker partner, onboarding and personal growth development. The successful candidate must deliver strong growth results through cross functional team members, broker engagement and retail execution while demonstrating the companies 5 C's (commitment, creativity, candor, collaboration and caring) across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Train and develop broker representation; Monitor business trends and competitive activity and formulate proactive solutions to effectively grow the business; Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with key partners within the team you support, highlighting new item performance, and growth opportunities; Collaborate both internally and externally with the ability to work in team environment across multiple levels and personalities to properly engage others; Prepare pertinent material for effective presentation to customer regarding retail support we provide. Must demonstrate solid presentation skills aimed to influence and negotiate for win-win outcomes; Regularly review company and team reports to maintain constant pulse on the business. Additionally, frequent analysis on consumer data to understand product performance and category trends. Be a leader within the retail team.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: 5+ years business experience.

Education: Bachelor's Degree.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Special Skills: Strong organization skills, interpersonal communication skills; Ability to work independently; Ability to translate corporate direction into sales successes and the ability to create alignment with the broker. Understanding of motivational leadership, conflict resolution and strong selling skills are required.

Travel: 40-50% within geography and to national sales meeting, team meetings, etc.
