Qualifications:
- Category management experience in Procurement department. Strong negotiation and cost saving skills, and a demonstrated process improvement background. Extensive experience in food categories such as proteins (poultry), sauces, bakery, produce, etc. preferred.
- Demonstrated success in identifying and synthesizing needs into a concise, clear and influential presentation, with a focus on consistent and concise message delivery. Able to work effectively across many internal functional groups to optimize product offerings and resolve issues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong relationship-development skills resulting in long term mutually beneficial client relationships.
- Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge in identifying quality solutions.
- Strong organization, planning and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks for both self and team to meet business requirements and deadlines.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in business, supply chain, management, food technology/science. MBA desirable
- Minimum of five years professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Strategic Sourcing with a track record of meeting and exceeding assigned goals and objectives
- Experienced in management of supplier relationships and negotiating statements of work (SOWs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
- Three years of management experience preferred
- Previous Restaurant industry knowledge preferred
- iTrade Solutions experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (including excel)
