Position Summary:


This position is key in supporting the development division within Property Management Company General responsibilities will include: plan, execute and finalize real estate projects on behalf of senior leadership according to strict deadlines and within budget, define project?s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its cycle, and deliver projects according to plan all while being responsible and punctual. The key function of this position is to provide project management and financial oversight in new build development projects while maintaining the highest standards of excellence in terms of quality.


  • Work with senior leadership to develop understanding of business needs
  • Based on collected requirements, develop, align and manage project budget, scope of work, delivery of resources, work planschedule, and human capital resources and consultants
  • Develop project plans and associated communications documents
  • Track project milestones and deliverables
  • Facilitate project meetings with team members and vendors
  • Identify, monitor, and ensure management of project risks

?        Create, receive, process and manage purchase orders associated with projects

  • Manage consultants and contractors including engineers, architects, land use attorneys, and construction subcontractors
  • Interface with local, state and/or federal employees regarding zoning
  • Communicate with jurisdictions to resolve any disputes or clarify any Land Use/permit interpretations
  • Analyze local ordinances and zoning codes to determine development parameters
  • Oversee due diligence and entitlement process for ground-up development including rezoning, site plan approval, DOT permits, environment permits, building permits, and all other permits and approvals required for development
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or similar field
  • 5+ years of practical experience in project management within the real estate or construction industry
  • Previous experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling and contract negotiations
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Expert analytical skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions
  • Ability to read and understand architectural and engineering drawings and plans
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Demonstrated negotiation skills
  • Travel as needed for meetings and site inspections
