Represent HealthCore’s Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Team as the scientific leader/consultant on research studies, staying current with latest research methods and industry developments.

• Lead/review internal staff developed deliverables, including Protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans, Reports, and Publications, focusing on the interpretation of results and translation of results back to evidence stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in health economics and outcomes research and represent the company’s research expertise in client meetings. and in support of business development activities.
• Collaborate in business development activities, presenting research capabilities and expertise to prospective clients and lead development and defense of research proposals.
• Publishes research in recognized peer-reviewed scientific publications, and presents research at scientific conferences and forums.
• Mentors junior research associates.
• Responsible for prospective and retrospective health economic research activities.
• Lead/review internal staff developed deliverables, including Protocols, Statistical Analysis Plans, Reports, and Publications, focusing on the interpretation of results and translation of results back to evidence stakeholders.
• Recognition as a technical authority within the organization and nationally/globally..
• Responsible for HealthCores project operations activities to include: project conceptualization, project planning, leading project teams, and proposal defense presentations. Leads the proposal development process, project pricing, and project milestone forecasting. Ensures the quality and timeliness of deliverables to HealthCore clients.

Qualifications

Requires a Ph.D in health service research, biostatistics, epidemiology, health policy, economics or related field, or a clinical degree such as an MD or PharmD with residency or fellowship research training, 10+ years of increasing responsibility as a subject matter expert to research teams in health outcomes projects conducting research using health plan administrative databases (pharmacy and medical claims), with excellence demonstrated by extensive publication of articles and presentation or research at national and international conferences, and serving as a technical subject expert on health services research panels, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Managed care, PBM, pharmaceutical, or related experience preferred.
