We are looking for a results-oriented individual to join our team as the Research Partnership Manager for a novel new therapy under development (FLASH) that has the potential to improve global cancer care. Responsibilities include facilitating and developing relationships and research activities with the medical/scientific community, primarily through Varian’s FlashForwardTM Consortium. Position will serve as a central point of contact between the Consortium and the related clinical, research and technical teams within Varian.
Knowledge: Having wide-ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Job Complexity: Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises independent judgment and discretion in solving complex business problems. Interaction: Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise. Supervision: Determines methods and procedures reviewed by others on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead). Typical Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 8 years of related experience or Master’s degree with 6 years of related experience. Experience working with scientists and engineers to evaluate research and development activities for potential commercial development.
