Job Summary:

We are seeking motivated engineers to assist in EM system development for client funded opportunities. Will be required to design, implement, and test their work in a flexible environment often in diverse technical teams working on fast paced applied R&D programs. Job responsibilities will include: design, build, and test complex data acquisition systems, electromechanical systems, and occasionally support field collection efforts with these systems. Assist in preparing white papers for new client funded projects, proposals and cost estimates; interact with customers to promote new business and develop technical requirements; participate on and lead technical project tasks; document and report technical work; perform other duties as assigned. Participate in technical evaluation of personnel working on technical tasking. Lead Junior engineers, scientists, and technicians while working as the project/technical lead. Lead proposal efforts for follow-on technical work and new innovative technical solutions. Negotiate/coordinate with clients concerning project and technical management.


Education/Experience:

Requires a BS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 5-10 years experience; must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Must have strong electromagnetics knowledge. Experience in Control Systems and object oriented, especially 'C', programming languages is required. Must have experience in preparing technical and programmatic sections of white papers and/or proposals. Must be able to design, implement, and test their work in a flexible environment often in diverse technical teams working on fast paced applied research and development programs. Candidates who are experienced with the following software suites are preferred; LabVIEW, MultiSim, and Altium. Familiarity with Solidworks, Ansys, and Matlab is preferred. Experience with hardware design and implementation at least to the demonstration level is preferred. Experience in EM sensor design preferred. Experience in Power Systems, Antenna Design, Integration, and System Evaluation is desired. Experience in Electromagnetic (EM) Probe Design, Integration, and System Evaluation is preferred. Current security clearance is preferred. Travel on an as-needed basis to conduct project work is required. A valid/clear driver's license is required.
