The Center for Robust Speech Systems (CRSS) is recruiting a post-doctoral researcher for an NSF supported project focused on developing a community resource of audio, language, and speaker engagement based on recovered audio from the NASA Apollo missions.
Minimum Education and ExperiencePh.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and ExperienceExperience in speech and language processing technologies including speech recognition, speaker recognition, diarization, speaker trait/engagement assessment.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis individual would be responsible for assisting in diarization research, corpus development oversite including being involved with supported PhD students, as well as undergraduate CRSS-UTDallas transcriber team involved in providing transcription support for audio portions of each Apollo mission. He/She would also be responsible for coordinating the processing structure for the advanced CRSS-UTDallas Diarization Pipeline processing system on CRSS’s GPU processing cluster.
