The applicant will manage IT project requirements through the Systems Engineering Lifecycle while ensuring necessary compliance with SE Processes (Requirements, Architecture, Design, Test, Information Assurance, Configuration Management, etc). The applicant should be familiar with the Systems Engineering “V” and be able to apply principles from it to the projects they manage. The applicant should show great initiative to seek out new tasks and efforts. The applicant should be comfortable both managing projects and incorporating process improvements to improve program efficiencies. The applicant should also have strong communication skills to work with other contractor teams as well as government customer organizations. Tasks will include developing project plans, facilitating technical exchange meetings, ensuring on-time delivery of project deliverables, and development of gate review briefings for adequate situational awareness. The applicant will work closely with the development contractor. Applicant should have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Project, Visio) and Microsoft SharePoint. Any familiarity with DOORS, JIRA, System Architect, and ERWIN will be strongly considered.
The ideal candidate has experience in working with customers and will be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously. S/he also must be willing to work in Arlington, VA on a periodic basis. S/he must have demonstrated experience in:
- Systems Engineering and the Systems Engineering Life Cycle
- Requirements Management
- Writing and maintaining requirements process documents
- Developing requirements on IT systems
- Decomposing and mapping requirements
- Experience with administering DOORS
The candidate must have demonstrated experience in use and administration of DOORS and an understanding of Cyber Threats. Candidate must have experience writing requirements for techincal IT systems/projects.
The candidate should have experience in one or more of the following:
- Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems
- Malware analysis
The candidate must:
- Be a strong communicator (verbal and written)
- Hold a TS/SCI clearance
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or similar technical discipline
- Have 10+ years of experience in system engineering or system development experience
- Have Demonstrated experience (5+ years) performing requirements management.
