The Reporting and Integration Services developer is responsible for development, enhancement, integration and avp testing of reports/dashboards built by the business, product teams and developers for applications in the ERM and Actuarial domain. Responsibilities include working directly with the business users, developers and systems personnel to understand new features expected to be implemented in the dashboards and integrate the same in a service delivery framework.
The developer ideally understands interaction of qvd, qvws, perl pseudo code, html and various services with the operating system including http and JSON calls for integration into standard AIG tools with open APIs such as SericeNow, Yammer, Office365.
The developer ideally understands and enhances data structures in a report/dashboard and optimizes them with standard and statistical and mathematical functions used by Actuaries and Enterprise Risk users. Should be able to diagnose and detect performance issues with existing batch scripts/routines and create new optimized process runs. Focuses on integration and utilizes scripting to define and connect to enterprise data resources/repositories to connect, validate data across multiple application platforms. Proficiency and working knowledge of SDLC required. Develop and create summarizations/graphs of variety of data organized by fixed and floating set of attributes required. Create multipanel single/multi query report with complex joins and trending data limit functions, including pie charts and plotter charts, using standard Java pattern frameworks required. Able to use open source frameworks for multi device rendering of reports with Angular-Java framework and upgrade deprecated platform-frameworks.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Working knowledge of Oracle and proficiency with at least two programming languages required. Must have proficiency in object oriented world and be familiar with creating service based components and architectures when building extraction/validation/handoff routines from disparate data sources. Understanding of deployments processes and production upkeep of reports and changes is required. Ability to multi task including working with the users during quarterly close to generate complex queries for reporting and analysis is required. Ability to work with developers and business users around usage of Qlikview's mathematical functions and or third party math libraries is required.
Must have at least five years of development or report writing experience ability to multi task between developing and supporting users-developers required.
