Responsible for facilitating training using existing material, third party subject matter experts and developing future programs based on need to drive longer term business improvements and ensure these are incorporated into the Reliability Excellence program. Improve our manufacturing network's reliability through the implementation and enhancement of our Reliability Excellence program, you will be responsible to develop, plan and implement activities to increase maintenance efficiency and reliability to positively impact operations and to reduce maintenance costs.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Build strong positive relationships with diverse groups through day-to-day maintenance & reliability plant support with a continuous focus on safe, reliable and efficient operations. Acting as a single point of contact, providing technical direction for teams at both at the manufacturing sites and at a corporate level
  • Lead maintenance strategies optimization and management focusing on maintenance coaching and mentoring. Provide advice to plant maintenance managers on developing goals, objectives and work plans for the plant teams
  • Guide multi-functional teams to identify, evaluate and implement system design changes, asset strategies revisions and operating/maintenance procedure updates
  • Work with Maintenance and Operations teams across all facilities to promote Global Root Cause template and triggers, in order develop the solution and then support the implementation
  • Evaluate performance reports as part of asset management and continuous improvement, monitor the main indicators of maintenance and reliability and provide feedback to and working with those teams on improvements
  • Support the development of a Strategic Asset Management Plan with the purpose of defining how the organizational objectives are converted into asset management objectives. While also working with local Reliability & Maintenance Managers to analyze loss data to identify under performing assets
  • Lead the of work process standards database and champion those standards while the Reliability Excellence Program is being executed by plant maintenance teams
  • Facilitate training in new work processes, procedures and tools when applicable, while also monitoring expertise, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions to close those gaps
  • Build and publish weekly and monthly reports commenting on the overall trends and progress of the reliability and maintenance program
  • Participate on internal assessment team as it relates to plant program assessments, specific functional and work process reviews
  • Ensure compliance to internal and external policies, procedures and regulations and to assist external auditors such as insurance companies, and/or other groups as required.

The Maintenance & Reliability Excellence Manager, North America position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have a track record of successfully utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Complete or are currently in progress for a Maintenance Management Professional (MMP)
  • Previously worked in CMMS (SAP PM, Prometheus, Lube-It), MS Excel, Predictive Maintenance tools and systems
  • Are experienced with Lean Manufacturing concepts and practice
  • Have been exposed to a food operating plant environment (ISO9001, FSSC22000)

Qualified candidates will have:

  • 10+ Years' experience in Maintenance and Reliability Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading, developing, and engaging all levels of the organization, including an expertise in collaboration and influencing without direct authority
  • Proven leadership skills, including being a strong communicator
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, working with multiple priorities and timelines
  • Knowledge and experience with maintenance trades / crafts
  • Ability and availability to travel 40 – 50%
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) or currently in program
