Remote Reliability Engineer duties:
- Partner with cross-functional technical, operational, and functional teams to identify key reliability risks and use appropriate reliability techniques (Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), hazard analysis, etc.) to assess, prioritize, correct and mitigate issues.
- Utilize knowledge from observations and analyses to identify opportunities for reliability improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to help develop reliability modeling capabilities and competencies; understand the results and take appropriate improvement actions.
- Follow/improve the defined reliability processes to develop reliability models showing expected product performance of key products, and then work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine the models to ensure maximum accuracy.
