Morningstar seeks a Team Lead to manage the training and development of the Relationship Managers as well as manage the Relationship Management team. The Team Lead will own the collection, maintenance, and reporting of CSM team KPIs and supportad-hoc key initiatives/projects across the group. The Team Lead will also own the development of the training program for the Relationship Managers and the skill development of the Relationship Managers. This position requires frequent client-facing travel and is based in Chicago.
-Maintain certain key client relationships as a Relationship Manager
-Build upon the Relationship Manager program framework
-Improve and lead ongoing Relationship Manager industry and product training
-Onboard new Relationship Managers and provide ongoing mentoring/coaching as part of their development plan
-Collect, maintain, and report on team KPIs around production and activity
-Liaison with Relationship Managers/CSMs in other areas to determine best practices and facilitate implementing those best practices within the Workplace team
-Engage with marketing and product on client-specific initiatives
-A bachelor`s degree; an advanced degree is a plus.
-Possess a minimum of ten years of customer service, training, or sales experience.
- Understanding of the Retirement and Financial Services industry.
-Must enjoy teaching/mentoring/coaching
-Excellent prioritization, communication, and analytical skills
-Experience with Salesforce and Tableau a plus
-Experience leading a team or developing careers a plus
-Financial industry certifications are considered a plus
