Job Title: Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift: 10 hours (12:00 - 22:30)
Experience: At least 2-3 years Level 1 ICU experience required
License: Valid state license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Must-Have: Critical care experience, Inpatient experience, Level I Trauma Center experience, Phase I PACU, Dysrhythmia recognition/management, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, Care of Ventilated patients
Description:
This position involves working 4x10 shifts from 12:00 to 22:30.
Experience in a Level 1 ICU setting is required.
First-time applicants are welcome.
No weekends, call, or holidays are required.
Local candidates within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.
The patient population includes adults, occasional adolescents, and geriatric individuals in a Level 1 trauma center.
The unit recovers a variety of surgical patients, including those from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general surgery, colorectal, GYN, urological procedures, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplants.
Open heart surgeries or liver transplants are not part of the recovery process.
The unit is open 24/7 and consists of 38 patient bays, requiring staff for a wide array of acute post-op recovery.
Use of EPIC for charting is required.
References are preferred at the time of application.
Candidates may be required to float within the hospital to meet facility needs.
Pre-start modules must be completed, and orientation consists of 40 hours.
