Job Title: Registered Nurse
Job Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day Shift; 8:00 am-4:30 pm or 8:30 am-5:00 pm
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Outpatient Oncology, chemotherapy experience required
License: Nursing license required in assigned state
Certifications: BLS through American Heart Association, ONS or ONCC required
Must-Have: Minimum of two years of acute care experience within the last three years in this specialty
Job Description:
- Join a multidisciplinary team focused on achieving consistent and positive patient outcomes.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and their families.
- Ensure high-quality care in a compassionate environment.
- Flexibility to float between units based on staffing needs.
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program, typically about one week.
- Engage in a role that does not require holiday or weekend shifts.
- Maintain compliance with mandatory flu vaccination unless an exemption is granted for medical or religious reasons.
- Required to have a current nursing license from the state of residence or a compact license.
- Must meet local radius rules, with a permanent address at least 50 miles from the primary work site.
- Orientation consists of 20 hours, and details will be included in the welcome letter.
