MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE SELLING FINTECH SOLUTIONS TO PAYERS

Summary of Job :

Develop and manage a direct sales initiative working primarily with Health Plans, TPAs and managed care organizations for the purpose of using Company?s ? payment platform solutions and services. This position will include prospecting for new clients, consultative selling, presenting to influencers and key decision-makers, as well as facilitating contracts and rates, building and maintaining payer relationships as well as attending approved industry forums and conventions.

Reporting Relationship :

SVP Sales

Essential Functions :

? Develop strategies, in conjunction with Company?s SVP of Sales, for health plan client development through analysis and market knowledge

? Prospect and present Company Solution suite to targeted health plans.

? Effectively presents the value proposition of Company?s solutions to targeted clients

? Accurately report sales pipeline activity

? Work with our Company leadership, Information Technology, and Account Management teams to develop company specific contractual templates; negotiate rates and contractlanguage for execution

? Attend industry conferences and trade shows

? Performs other duties as assigned

? Maintains awareness of and ensures adherence to our client?s standards

Job Requirements :

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

? Demonstrates expertise in Company?s suite of solutions and information conveyed in order to maximize sales

? Familiarity working with CRM Salesforce.com

? Demonstrates strong understanding of payer market needs

? Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with MS Office applications (strong understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

? Works on assignments that are complex in nature in which judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems

? Thorough knowledge of company and departmental policies and procedures

Independence/ Accountability:

? Requires minimal supervison

? Achieves personal production goals

? Receives detailed instruction on new assigments and determines next steps in collaboration with SVP of Sales.

? Regularly reviews goals and objectives with SVP of Sales

? Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

? Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Communication Skills:

? Must work well with others

? Ability to transfer knowledge to staff with different backgrounds, educational experiences and learning styles

? Effectively communicates ideas and information to others by giving and receiving feedback

? Actively participates iand adds value/input to meetings

? Must have excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interface with representatives from the payer community

Education and Experience:

? College degreepreferred with a minimum of 10 years sales or business development experience in the health care payer sector

? Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the operational processes of healthcare payers with an understanding of their goals and objectives.

? Fast learner with the ability to operate within the highest levels of our target market

? Strong knowledge of MS Office products

?Travel? up to 75%
