Job Summary

The Regional Vice President (RVP) of Sales is responsible for driving regional revenue for Access. In this role, the RVP is accountable revenue realization from both new business sales and account management. The position will develop, execute and lead sales and revenue growth strategies and initiatives to achieve the company’s short- and long-term goals in their region, while working closely with the SRVP of Sales, Chief Revenue Officer and the Leadership Team.

This role will be both strategic and hands-on, leading the New Business and Account Management teams to meet and exceed their targets. The ideal candidate will be an ambitious individual who embraces the change and atmosphere of a growth organization. Success will be measured by delivering on commitments, exceeding goals, and doing both with integrity and respect for peers and reports.

Responsibilities and Competencies Required

The Regional Vice President will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales and lead a team of 3-4 sales managers in their region. S/He provides sales leadership for our physical records management offering and collaborates with our Software and Conversion Services sales teams to deliver on our broader document lifecycle management solutions and value.

The RVP recruits “A” players and coaches her/his team to success. A strong interest and willingness to coach team members empathetically yet accountably is a core requirement.  S/He must be able to confront issues constructively while living our values and building a team of winners.

Ideal candidates will have a deep understanding and commitment to sales process and a consultative approach to selling. Candidates will have strong abilities to follow and instill sales process in their teams starting with strategic territory plan development. The sales leader will be well versed in sales metrics and uses them to build demand, create and manage quality pipeline, and consistently deliver against a bookings forecast.

Candidates must have a high degree of business acumen and contextual business fluency, be natively analytical and be able to manage a long sales cycle that touches multiple buyer types and roles. This leader will understand financial concepts, and use their analytical and negotiating skills to successfully win complex long-term deals. 

The RVP must be able to create positive energy within the team and collaborate well through the organization. S/He must have strong EQ and able to adapt well in an environment where change is constant.

Position Requirements:

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing or related field required: MBA preferred
  • Minimum 15 Years of sales experience with 7 years in a senior sales leadership position
  • Sales leadership experience in physical records management, conversion services/document management or ECM software strongly preferred
