PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Senior Financial Analyst provides support for an individual market's clinic margin performance, including the optimization of financial outcomes while aligning with operational objectives. This role involves assisting in financial processes and making substantial contributions to the overarching business strategy. The candidate will participate in planning, forecasting, and analysis of annual, monthly, and quarterly results. Furthermore, under the Manager's leadership, the candidate will aid in the development and implementation of a regular performance reporting and analysis framework, all aimed at achieving the company's overarching goals and profitability objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Supports market finance operations, annual budgeting, regular forecasting, and weekly and monthly financial operational KPI reporting, encompassing revenue, expenses, capital, and cash flows.

2) Supports ownership and accountability of their respective market P&L results with operations leadership, including driving revenue and cost improvement initiatives to support the achievement of budget goals.

3) Monitors and identifies opportunities to enhance patient growth/membership, fill rates/no-show rates, clinician productivity, staffing productivity/ratios, coding mix, and payor reimbursement while also aiding in monitoring operating and capital expenses to ensure the attainment of budgeted profitability and cash flow targets.

4) Tracks and analyzes organic growth efforts to segregate financial performance from the established portion of the business.

5) Supports market leaders' delivery of their P&L budget through optimizing regular performance reporting, including participating in weekly and monthly variance analyses to explain key performance trends.

6) Partnering with the Regional Manager of Finance Operations to provide financial education and support to Regional/Practice managers, including financial training, help interpreting financial reports, and guidance on revenue optimization and expense management.

7) Continuously identifies and drives ongoing process improvements to the financial planning & analysis processes, reporting, and annual budget cycles.

8) Partners with Accounting on month-end close and reporting processes. Helps to ensure that management reports are accurate and timely and comply with all relevant regulations and standards.

9) Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of the overall business and strategic direction for the organization, including supporting management's story with facts and assumptions that have been well thought through.

10) Assists in the development of financial presentations for operational leaders and the finance leadership team, including quarterly Board of Director presentations.

11) Develops complex financial models to support business performance with little to no supervision.

12) Continuously seeks to improve business processes and analytics to drive efficiencies.

13) Provides ad-hoc reporting and analysis.

14) Builds strong cross-functional relationships with market leaders and senior management team and is viewed as a trusted advisor providing significant added value to the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field

LOCATION:
• Must reside in Mexico

EXPERIENCE:
• At least 5 years of relevant financial modeling, analysis, and reporting experience.
• At least 3 years of forecasting and budgeting experience.
• At least 3 years of health care industry experience preferred.
• Experience includes financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and ad-hoc analysis, including the use of SQL queries.
• Technical skills include strong knowledge of Microsoft Office- Excel (Logic Formulas, Index/Match Formulas, Macros, Pivot Tables, X-Lookup, etc.), SQL, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook.
• Both Value Based Care and FFS experience ideal.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing financial strategies that support business objectives.
• Strong presentation skills; ability to create and speak to slides that deliver a message concisely.
• Possesses the confidence and presence to interact and communicate effectively with senior operations management, VPs, and Directors.
• Must be high energy, results-driven, solution-oriented, focused and motivated, with solid decision-making capability.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to rapidly and accurately analyze a situation to make an effective decision.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, including familiarity with 'best practices' in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data management skills. Experience with ERP systems, business intelligence, and corporate performance management software
• Comfortable with a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Knowledge of finance and business measurements: clinician and staff productivity metrics, expense performance, rate of return, working capital, investment, etc.

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS

Working in a professional office environment remotely. The position involves frequent collaborative call volumes. The environment requires the ability to multi-task, communicate clearly & concisely, working in spreadsheets for extended periods. It will require sitting for long periods of time.
