Join the sales team of a world renowned supplier of lidar/imaging technology to help grow business in a fast passed, dynamic atmosphere.The Regional Sales Manager ensures order and revenue growth of Teledyne Optech business unit products and services by analyzing and meeting customer needs; developing and implementing sales plans; selling new systems, upgrades and warranties as well as providing customer support to both Resellers and End-users within an assigned geographic sales territory of the United States and Canada.
? Achieve annual sales quotas by working with International Sales Manager and Resellers to establis h selling strategies. Primary focus will be on Teledyne Optech’s Mobile and Static 3D Survey I maging product lines.
? Obtain orders and establish new accounts; visit and/or call existing and potential customers; support Resellers; analyze customer requireme nts; development and implement strategic plans & objectives; recommend solutions to company products; keep management informed through regular activity reports and communication
? Promote Sales and Marketing of all Optech products to reach business unit targ ets for sales volumes. This includes responding to customer requests, quotation of responsible products and services. Attain sales targets (quantity and revenue) for products and services as set out in the annual budget.
? Train customers and Resellers on o peration of responsible products. Troubleshot field problems, application issues and provide general customer/Reseller support. Ensure customer requests (quotation requests, field problems, etc...) are handled on - time and efficiently resulting in customer satisfaction,
? Work with the Sales & Marketing teams to ensure sales growth in all products. Help promote all company products and services to reach business unit targets.
? Assist Sales and Marketing in preparation and distribution of promotional literature for the responsible product lines as per the annual plan.
? Attend tradeshows, visit customers and provide presentations as necessary to promote and demonstrate produc t functionality.
Bachelor’s Degree in Survey/Geomatics/Geography or related field.
?3 –5 years direct sales experience or equivalent work experience in applied Survey/Geomatics/Geographyfunction
?Knowledge of business, marketing, sales processes and workflows
?Excellent knowledge of surveying engineering, GIS, Photogrammetry
?Channel Marketing and Reseller relations experience as asset
