World Wide Technology, Inc. has an opportunity available for a Regional Sales Manager to support our Public Sector SLED team. This position will be focused on managing a SLED sales team representing WWT's core capabilities (Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy).

Can be based out of any of the following locations: Seattle WA, Olympia WA, Portland OR, Boise ID or Sacramento CA

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages team of Account Managers, which is responsible for the selling WWT's core capabilities (Infrastructure Modernization, Multi-Cloud Architecture, Security Transformation and Digital Strategy) to SLED account base
  • Provides awareness of government contracts
  • Participates in the development of business strategies for targeted markets
  • Provide direction, coaching and mentoring to employees and others to achieve successful short and long-term outcomes
  • Communicates to senior management: yearly business goals, strategies, monthly forecasts, quarterly priorities, weekly activities and expense reports
  • Leverage our Advance Technology Center and participates in sales presentations
  • Exhibit consultative skills to create new opportunities and gain new customers
  • Recruit, develop and retain top talent using WWT Core Values and the Federal Sales mission and vision as our foundation to grow
  • Own sales strategy, goals and plans for team's success and contribute to the organization's overall strategy, plans and sales direction
  • Collaborate with Sales, Engineers, Technical Architects and Consulting Systems Engineers to define strategic sales plans and align/partner with right key OEMs to solve customer problems
  • Identify trade-offs between short and long term gains by having a deep understanding of customer needs while driving sales revenues
  • Help team solve conflicting priorities and make timely, effective decisions
  • Demonstrate strong management skills and drive results within team
  • Oversee the presales process and help drive effective communication between sales and engineering
  • Develop strong relationships with strategic OEM partners

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 7+ years of sales and management experience within Public Sector SLED accounts delivering large scale IT solutions: Collaboration / Storage / Server / Virtualization strategies focused around our key OEMs: Cisco, DELL EMC, NetApp, and VMware
  • Previous involvement with Federal Government budgets and procurement cycles -- SLED experience is required
  • Experience managing and coaching a team of Account Managers with a proven track record working with leadership and driving business strategies within DoD Agencies
  • Excellent leadership, mentorship and communication skills
  • Solid relationships with OEMs: Cisco, DELL EMC, VMware, NetApp
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • US Citizenship is required
