Regional Sales Manager - Managed Services

Our client is a leading provider of IT solutions. They manage data centers and cloud infrastructures for companies across a variety of industries. They are seeking to hire a Regional Sales Managerresponsible for mentoring and developing a team of sales executives and driving new business within the region. The Sales Manager will be an advocate in the marketplace for their team with key decision makers through face to face client meetings/presentations.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, mentor and develop a sales team
  • Meet / exceed revenue quotas and sales goals
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships, ensuring customer retention
  • Manage corporate objectives of territory; set and develop team members goals to ensure they are met and exceeded
  • Educate internal departments as well as partners on processes and tools
  • Review and analyze forecast data, report to management
  • Manage budgeted expenses
  • Keep well-informed of industry/market trends and competitors performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Min. 7+ years' experience selling complex solutions; computer hardware and software (on-premise, hosted and/or hybrid solutions)
  • Min. 2+ years Computer/Network experience
  • Min. 2+ years Sales Management experience
  • Experience in data center and managed services strongly preferred
  • Experience hiring, mentoring and developing a sales team
  • Documented Sales Success of meeting and achieving sales goals
  • Ability to initiate/build relationships and present to key decision makers (C-Level)
  • Existing contacts within technology solutions / IT industry
  • Excellent Problem Solving & Presentation skills
  • Strong Communication & Negotiation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel within territory as needed

Offering:

  • Base Salary $105,000 - $135,000 (based on experience)
  • Year 1 @ plan $150,000 - $175,000
  • Uncapped Commissions
  • Full Benefits Package
