Understanding the company's objectives, strategies, policies and practices, and to represent and institute them to the company's brokers, distributors and customer base.
Increasing existing business in current market areas and to develop new business by creating opportunities and developing them, as well as exploiting other opportunities by maintaining close working relationships with assigned brokers and distribution network.
Managing current broker network to maximize their efforts on behalf of the company's business and solicit, train and assist new brokers to develop new markets.
Gaining experience in all procedures of foodservice sales, including competitive manufacturers, distributor networks and their systems, support programs, and merchandising activities.
Maintaining a dynamic level of activity with all assigned brokers and distributors, to include volume and item distribution management, food show support, sales meetings, product training and end-user selling.
Acting as the primary conduit between all company personnel and assigned brokers and distributors.
Responsible for region including: MI, OH, PA, NY, ME, NH, VT, MA ,RI, CT, VA, WV ,KY, MD, DE.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
5+ years Foodservice Sales Experience
