Job Summary: The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining the physical appearance of the apartment complex, including grounds, common areas and office. Other responsibilities include turning apartments, showing and leasing apartments, rental collections, completing maintenance requests and mitigating emergencies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Recruit daily and hire qualified sales candidates to build a top producing sales team

  • Coach and train sales associates daily for continued performance improvement

  • Assess weekly reports and provide feedback to sales team by collaborating about ideas on driving additional sales to each community

  • Manage the agenda for the bi-weekly sales meetings

  • Review budgets vs actuals monthly to monitor progress made on meeting sales goals

  • Review and approve purchase agreements

  • Review sales backlogs weekly to insure projected closings are achieved by resolving lender or contingency issues

  • Tour other homebuilders in each community monthly and maintain a Competitive Market Analysis (CMA) for each community within the assigned area

  • Interface with prospective and current homeowners to solve any concerns and ensure customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is required

  • 5+ years of experience in the homebuilding industry including a sales role is required

  • 3 years in a sales management including training, coaching, leading and motivating a team

  • Proven knowledge of sales principles and practices

  • Ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume
