Position Summary

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) role is a direct quota carrying sales executive, responsible for delivering revenue for Idaptive’s suite of IDaaS solutions within a defined territory consisting of companies with more than 2,500 employees in multiple verticals and/or market segments. Candidates must have a credible understanding of security software solutions such as Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and the Identity and Access Management market in general. Candidate must be comfortable leading technical conversations and be able to position Idaptive against competitors and alternatives. Candidates must have a proven track record of success working in a home office setting and demonstrate the ability to work independently and productively with limited day to day supervision.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and account strategies to achieve quarterly and annual sales quota.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and decision makers.
  • Deliver the Idaptive value proposition in person and remotely to all levels of IT management as well as VP and C-level business management.
  • Identify, target, and qualify potential customers and prospects for Idaptive products.
  • Prospect for qualified opportunities using email, phone, and social media.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities sufficient to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quota.
  • Use to document and manage all sales activities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting on a monthly and quarterly basis and to consistently attain forecast targets.
  • Prepare and deliver in-person and remote sales presentations tailored to the specific needs of qualified prospects.
  • Maintain a high-level of relevant domain knowledge.
  • Expand Idaptive products within a current customer.
  • Own and drive the entire sales cycle and to efficiently involve and direct supporting resources including SDRs, Solutions Engineers, Sales Management, Product Management and Executive Management.
  • Work cooperatively with channel partners.


  • Bachelor's degree required with studies in technology field preferred.
  • 7+ years of security software quota-carrying sales experience with 3+ years selling a SaaS software product.
  • Successful track record of exceeding sales quota of in excess of $1.5M ARR.
  • Background and knowledge of terminology and technical concepts of the Idaptive core IDaaS market and more broadly the IAM and security landscape.
  • Highly proficient using and Microsoft Office products.
