Job Duties and Responsibilities

DISH Network has an employment opportunity for individuals with energy, intellect, and the need to achieve as a Regional Sales Manager.

The job responsibilities include:

  • Manages the sales activities, personnel, and customer satisfaction efforts for business process improvement
  • Develops and implements strategic sales systems and processes to accommodate corporate goals
  • Reviews and constructs reporting mechanisms to drive performance improvement and determine continuous improvement opportunities
  • Directs development activity and coordinates sales strategies that aid in reaching quotas and goals
  • Advises contractors, representatives, and business groups concerning sales and advertising techniques
  • Represents company at meetings to promote product and increase adoption of technologies
  • Assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion
  • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition, assists in devising plans to counter and exceed
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales quotas, KPI’s and performance metrics on a weekly and monthly basis
  • Responsible for pursuing new business opportunities

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; and four plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Skills - Experience and Requirements

A successful Regional Sales Manager will have:

  • 3+ years supervisory/management experience
  • Responsible for managing the performance of exempt staff located across a wide territory
  • Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff
  • Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
  • High level of computer expertise, including use of internet, database, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation applications and Siebel
  • Flexible, innovative and the ability to manage time and priorities in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment while being personal and professional 
  • Ability to travel 60-80% of the time
