What impact you will make: 

We are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to join our sales team. In this role, you will oversee all sales activity in your assigned region and work to grow your diagnostic laboratory network. You must possess innate leadership qualities and have a true passion for sharing the benefits and value our platform offers. As the individual who represents® and drives the revenue, you must also be a self-starting closer who can create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time.

The Regional Sales Manager will manage the full lifecycle of the sales processes for the hc1 platform within a specific geographical region or set of named accounts. This includes identifying and initiating new sales opportunities by prospecting new clients and leveraging existing client relationships, presenting sales presentations, and conducting contract negotiations. 

How you will do it: 

  • Call on commercial and hospital laboratories
  • Succeed in a high volume sales environment: prospecting, building pipelines, and closing business. These may originate from marketing leads, your cold calling efforts, and opportunities set up by our Sales Development Team
  • Resourceful and diligent in maintaining account data and opportunity forecasting within Hubspot
  • Generate leads from trade shows and regional networking events
  • Conduct face-to-face sales meetings; possess excellent presentation and follow up skills
  • Solid computer and application skills; ability to perform platform demos to prospects
  • Plan and execute on weekly sales activity reports
  • Be competitive and consistently meet/exceed sales quotas, have a positive attitude and incredible work ethic
  • An entrepreneurial spirit: ambitious, curious, innovative, collaborative, team player, and you are never satisfied with mediocrity
  • Travel approximately up to 50%

Background we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or similar and 3+ years' experience in a sales role within in a SaaS software/services organization with a successful track record
  • The ability to navigate complex sales processes and master the hc1 platform
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills as well as outstanding client relationship management experience
  • A proven sales hunter and closer with experience in building a pipeline from scratch
  • Experience selling to commercial and hospital laboratory executives
  • Experience in demonstrating product solutions to prospects and clients
  • Knowledge of territory/accounts in market
  • Proven ability to sell complex technology solutions, both large and small deals
  • Must be able to produce high quality, organized, and repeatable results
