Description

As a successful manager, you will increase sales revenue through market penetration and promotion of Beckman Coulter Diagnostics portfolio of products. You will advocate the clinical benefits of our products to all levels and call points in the hospital and laboratory staff. You will also need strong communication skills to handle customer relationships with industry thought leaders, and be able to drive highly complex sales to closure.  
Duties and Responsibilities
•Coach, train and develop sales representatives in building a strong, progressive, and motivated work team as well as providing team leadership
•Participate in selecting high-quality representatives throughout the recruiting process
•Establish and manage on-going procedures/processes for communication of information necessary for accomplishing district objectives
•Develop, manage and grow business in key accounts
•Expand menu utilization in existing accounts
•Maintain knowledge of negotiated contracts
•Develop and implement customer -specific action plans
•Develop and deliver business review presentations
•Host and assist with Trade shows
•Complete all assigned compliance and corporate training in a timely manner
•Complete all administrative work by assigned deadlines or due dates.


Qualifications


Education and Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree
•Previous experience with a proven selling skills model
Technical Competencies (Skill, Abilities and Capabilities):
•Strong track record of sales success selling a broad portfolio of products to laboratories & different medical specialties
•Strong communications and human relations skills
•Ability to sell technically complex products
•Expertise with demand creation
•Experience with customer base within territory is a plus
•Strengths in networking and relationship development
•Strong oral and written communications skills
•Some formal sales messaging experience such as SPIN Selling
•Strong time and territory management skills
•Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint applications
•Skilled using CRM applications such as Salesforce.com or Microsoft CRM
Experience
•8-10+ years diagnostics sales experience including 3+ management experience preferred
