  • Engage appropriate sales support or solution specialist resources to refine opportunity requirements and design client solutions
  • Compress sales cycle by working with those charged with developing product value analyses and purchase justifications
  • Disseminate customer needs and the penetration strategy and tactics to bring alignment to company product road maps and sales and marketing activities
  • Gather market feedback on product performance, industry trends, competitive products, and strategies
  • Develop and manage strong relationships within each customer’s functional department management, upper management, and C-levels
  • Support the company’s goals and values; establish an excellent working relationship with new and existing clients continuously striving to improve the business relationship and level of overall service being provided
  • Provide monthly sales projections to the IVANS Vice President, Sales


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years successful salesexperience, with a consultative/solution methodology
  • Experience selling to the P&C insurance industry or equivalent, preferably with a P&C insurance carrier or independent agency. Candidates with strong experience selling software solutions to large corporations will also be considered.
  • Excellent demonstration, presentation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships with customer executives
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and its distribution system
  • Solid time management skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
  • Able to commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals
  • Available for 50% travel
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required
  • Ability to develop excellent knowledge of all products and services; market; and competition
