The Regional Sales Manager will focus on building relationships with Domino's franchisees and their local schools to implement the School Lunch program and offer a ready-to-eat, delivered pizza that meets the nutritional guidelines of the National School Lunch Program. The person in this role will cover the Mid-Atlantic multi-state territory (MD, VA, NC, SC, and TN), and ideal candidates will be located in North Carolina or Virginia near a major airport. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight trips and occasional weekends (industry trade shows).
School Lunch Program Sales
•Develop and execute a sales plan targeting specific School District Directors by utilizing relationships with Franchisees, existing trade relationships and through networking/cold calling
•Utilize a consultative sales process to understand the customer needs, develop an appropriate sales solution/strategy and close at a high rate
•Attend food service industry trade shows (such as SNA) and other industry meetings for prospecting, relationship building and selling
•Maintain and nurture relationships with senior contacts in key account School Districts
•Convert incremental sales opportunities within the schools (i.e. summer feeding programs, after school programs etc…)
•Develop relationships with both Dairy Management Institute state representatives and Domino’s Marketing Leaders to facilitate the sales process
•Provide guidance to Franchisees on the best pricing strategies to promote optimal top and bottom line results
•Attend Franchisee meetings when necessary to present updates on the school lunch program
•Develop new business while maintaining and growing Key Accounts
•Follow up on all new leads and referrals provided by Client Services and Marketing
•Prepare effective sales presentations and proposals
•Meet or exceed individual sales goals
Business Management
•Adhere to budget parameters
•Maintain accurate Customer Relationship Management information
•Work with Operations Manager to identify specific needs related to product and service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Sales, Finance, or related work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and sales
  • Ability to travel extensively, including some weekend travel (50%)
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade and influence others
  • Experience working with a CRM system (Salesforce experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques a plus
  • Proven sales success in the school foodservice category a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relations with customer
  • Independent worker who is well organized and manages priorities well
