We are looking for a Regional Sales Director to lead our field-based selling team covering the natural and grocery channels. This role will be west coast based (flexible to any west major market or Chicago), reporting to the VP of Sales. The individual will be instrumental to the growth and scale of Vital Proteins and would be a critical part of our sales leadership team. You will be responsible for leading and managing 5-7 field-based Territory Manager/Regional Sales Managers, analyzing the business and developing skills on data driven selling and managing the performance of this team. Other responsibilities include mentorship and leadership with sell in strategies, strategic account management, collaborating with cross functional teams on overall strategy, forecasting and planning for west coast based regional and super regional accounts. This individual will contribute to the overall topline sales strategy and will work collaboratively with all aspects of sales – including Trade Marketing, Education on field training, promotions, relationships and will work closely with sales operations and sales analyst teams on program ROI, shopper marketing and evaluating go to market and category optimization.
